I understand your point that people should be concerned about smaller, everyday tragedies, but that doesn't mean we should overlook the impact of major events, like a bomb exploding. While it may be true that in a given month, a million people may stub their toe, a bomb blast is much more significant and warrants additional attention. It is wrong to think that we should ignore the importance of major events.
