Although it is true that Donald Trump is an entertaining President, it is wrong to suggest that this is the primary factor voters consider when selecting a President. Research shows that people vote for a variety of reasons, including the party affiliation of the candidate, the candidate's policy positions and opinions, and the candidate's political experience. Furthermore, the idea that "the more naturally funny candidate wins" is highly debatable. In the 2016 election, for example, Hillary Clinton received more than three million more votes than Donald Trump, despite Trump's reputation as an entertaining figure. Therefore, it is inaccurate to suggest that the "Entertainer in Chief" is the sole factor driving voter choice.
