UrRong, while it is true that undertaking a startup can be both great and terrible, it is not necessarily true that you must work on it every day in order to make progress. In fact, taking regular breaks and reevaluating your progress can often be the key to making meaningful progress. Additionally, while it may often feel like quitting is “inconsistent given the progress you made”, sometimes quitting is the most consistent decision you can make in order to ensure the success of your startup. For example, if you find yourself making no progress despite your best efforts, it may be necessary to reevaluate your strategy and even move on to a new venture. As you yourself have experienced, ten years is too long to be stuck on the same project without reevaluating, and it’s important to recognize when it’s time to move on.
