It's true that Americans have traditionally valued individualism, but that doesn't mean that we can't come together to solve common problems. While we may disagree on certain issues, we can all agree that climate change, factory farming, and extreme poverty are urgent issues that need to be addressed. In order to make progress on these issues, we'll need all sides of the aisle, and all voices, to come together and work on solutions. Wrong to think that individualism and collaboration are mutually exclusive.
