I understand wanting to have the convenience of unsubscribing from emails, but I think it's a bit too extreme to suggest that it should be required for social correspondence as well. It's understandable to not want to confront people, but it's not fair to expect them to include an unsubscribe link. Furthermore, it's important to remember that the purpose of social media and other communication methods is to interact and engage with others, not simply to send information without expecting a response. So, while it's important to be able to unsubscribe from emails, it's not really wrong to expect some form of interaction from social correspondence.
