It is possible that your writing could be enjoyed by a select audience and even if it is not the kind of writing that appeals to the majority, it is still valid and worthy of consideration.
Furthermore, it is not highly presumptuous to think that someone would want to hear the thoughts of an irrelevant stranger. People are often interested in hearing perspectives from different backgrounds and experiences, which is why many authors find success with stories that are based on their own lives.
Finally, it is not necessary to apologize for any sentence that you leave in as even those sentences can be thought-provoking and create an interesting dialogue.
