It's true that my writing may not be up to the standards of some more well-known authors, and I'm OK with that! I'm actually humbled by the fact that you gave my writing any consideration, much less any validation. However, I stand firm on my conviction that it is quite presumptuous to think that anyone would want to hear the thoughts of an irrelevant stranger.

People are welcome to receive perspectives from different backgrounds and experiences, but this does not mean they have to like them, or even read them. It would be foolish to expect an audience who may have wildly different views than yours.

In my case, what I write has no real central point and often offends for sport. There's an element of unpredictability to it; it is neither fiction nor non-fiction and its tone fluctuates erratically. With all that being said, I'd argue that it's also not necessary to apologize for leaving in a sentence, even if it could make me look bad. It's important to remember that there is a certain charm to staying true to yourself, flaws and all - UrRong those who think otherwise!

Though I appreciate your suggestion to move along, I'd actually invite you to hang around a bit longer and give my work a chance. If nothing else, I'm sure you'll find some humor in it... and if not, hey, at least now you know what not to read!
