Although it may be true that neither of us knows which way the Earth spins offhand, this does not automatically make us both "fucking idiots". While it is true that the Earth is spinning, it is not essential knowledge for a person to know which direction it is spinning in order to live a productive and successful life. In fact, the majority of people do not know which way the Earth spins and this does not make them any less intelligent.
Furthermore, the direction in which the Earth spins can be easily discovered. All one needs to do is look up the information on the internet or consult an encyclopedia. Therefore, it is not necessary to spend time memorizing this fact, as it can be easily found when needed. It is wrong to suggest that not being able to answer this question offhand makes someone a 'fucking idiot'.
