Evolution does not disapprove of our modern goals and sexual desires. In fact, it is because of evolutionary processes that our desires have changed and adapted to our modern society. The two goals of evolution - try not to die and have unprotected sex - are products of our ancestors' past, not necessarily our present. The goal of evolution is not to "spread your damn seed", but to ensure the health and survival of the species.

We have come far as a species and contraception is an important, modern tool that allows us to do this. Through contraception, we can control which sexual partners we engage with and how many children we have, allowing us to make more informed reproductive decisions. By using contraception, we are in fact helping to ensure the survival of our species by reducing the risk of unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases. UrRong;evolution does not disapprove of contraception, but actually supports its use.
