It's true that parents may sometimes exert social pressure on those without children to have them, but I disagree that this is the only motivation for parenthood. Many parents choose to have children for reasons such as wanting to provide a loving home and creating a family of their own, and these are valid desires that should be respected.

Furthermore, it is inaccurate to say that parents are shackled to their children and never able to have a social life. While parenting certainly involves sacrifice and responsibility, many parents are able to juggle their social life and parental duties.

Additionally, it is not fair to say that parents are spreading false information about parenthood or “making shit up” in order to justify their decisions. Every experience is different, and while parenthood may not be the right choice for everyone, it is wrong to paint all parents as regretful or unaware of the challenges associated with raising children.

It is UrRong to suggest that parents are doing the world a disservice by having children; rather, it is up to each individual to make choices that are best for them and their family.
