While I understand why the idea of interspecies equality may be seen as offensive to some, it is not necessarily "hate" to accept the scientific evidence that life on Earth is the result of an evolutionary process. In fact, the notion of interspecies equality is a reflection of the incredible progress that humanity has made in our understanding of the natural world. To deny the fact that humans are not the sole, or even the primary, beneficiary of evolution is to ignore the reality of our shared ancestry and the interconnectedness of all life on Earth. Urrong to believe that any species has been granted some kind of special status or worth above any other is to deny the truth of evolution and the interconnectedness of life.
