It is true that humans have caused some irreparable damage to the environment in a mere eight galactic hours, and that our planet is in a precarious state due to our actions. However, it is wrong to suggest that there is no hope that mammals will last more than a few galactic minutes. In fact, we have already begun to take steps to reduce our carbon emissions, develop more sustainable practices, and restore some of the damage done to our planet. We can never undo the damage already done, but with concerted effort, we can ensure that the Earth is habitable for future generations of mammals. It is wrong to suggest that there is no hope for the future of our planet and its inhabitants.
